To us, our clients are more than just people in need. They are precious individuals whose needs for guidance, love and other assistance are being met by caring Christians. About one-third of the cost to provide these services comes from donors. Since many clients express their gratitude with tears, smiles, and hugs, there is not an adequate way for you to experience it. Here is just a little taste of that gratitude through the testimonials from some of our families as well as their pictures.
Frank S Fagan JrI want to give thanks to all the people who are working together with CIR. I am a US Citizen and I have been married with my wife Evelin for 14 years, my wife has been living in USA since 1998. She wasn’t available to get out the country because her legal status. I was sad because her situation and I got more upset when she had the loss of her grandmother, the lady was like a mother to my wife and it was so bad that immigration didn’t let her get out of the country, my wife just had TPS and that had limitations to her.
Since the Immigration laws have been changing we took an advantage of it and she got a parole to get out of the country and like that she can came legal to US. We came back from El Salvador and my wife did a research about CIR and we call to make an appointment and they start helping in our case. We are glad that they did an excellent job with my wife situation because now she can get out the country with no problem at all, she came legal resident into US in August 4th of this year and that was a gift as our 14th anniversary because we got married on the 6th of 2001. It took little too long but we are happy that everything is good now. Iris MolinaI want to thank those who gave the donation for my children’s case. Without a donation the work couldn’t have been done for my children. I invite people to continue donating because they will help other people like me, for the benefit of their children so they can get their papers and have a better future here. I am grateful to CIR because for me personally and for my family I have been helped a lot, when I went to the Ladies’ Conference, hearing the testimonies made me think and reflect in a different way about helping my children a little more, and in matters of work and business.

Yessenia GalvezI am so thankful. Thankful for the donations I could move forward legally. We're still waiting on immigration papers, but it has been a blessing for me and my kids. When my kids first came I was worried about how it would all work out, I never imagined there was help for my three kids. I don't think I would have been able to find a lawyer without the shepherd project donations. I found CIR and now things are working out.
God is so good and has changed my life. We also are thankful for the marriage counseling we received. It has been such a great blessing. Providence Baptist ChurchWe at Providence Baptist Church partnered with CIR 3 years ago. John and his team have spent countless hours educating and helping my team do effective and empowering ministry to our neighboring Latino community. He has saved us from making mistakes and given us great ideas based on their experiences. I am so thankful that I have had his team as a sounding board and as a guide us as we try to reach out to our neighbors with the Gospel. - Beth Mull Director of Local Missions PBC

Angie and KatherineWhen we came to this country, we were so happy. It had been 7 years since we lived with our mom and we weren't sure the courts would let us stay. Now, because of your help, we are free to grow and play together as a family. CIR's Shepherd Project has helped us to find a lawyer and get the help we need to stay together. When you contribute, you are really helping teens and kids live without fear.
Roxanna ReyesI am so thankful with CIR and people who work here. I am happy for what has been done for me. John has worked hard. When I think about my girls, 16 and 12 yrs old, I feel very happy. It’s been 10 years since we’ve spent a Christmas together and I hope to have them here with me. A lot had to happen in order for them to be able to come! - Roxanna Legal Permanent Resident since
Maria C. F. LopezI am grateful and satisfied with the services of CIR. Grateful because they helped me obtain my residency and gave me a reference to therapy services for my child. Satisfied because I have gotten my residency status with which I no longer have to worried to the point of depression thinking that I could be deported. This confidence has changed my life, because there is no worries about that. I am doing very well emotionally now. And my son is doing well also due to the references we received to programs for him. Thanks for changing the life of my family! - U visa to LPR

Sara LampkinI am so grateful to CIR for the opportunity to enhance my skills for my calling by God to reach out and help the immigrant communities living here. God has given CIR the ability to see what the needs of the immigrant community are and the desire to meet those needs. The training CIR provided through the immigration law class and the shadowing hours is just one way they show that God loves the immigrant.
