INTAKE IMMIGRATION

Services For Immigrants:
  • Representing qualified young adults who came to the US as children  (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals  or DACA)
  • Preparing parents of US children  for propose relief  (Deferred Action for Parental Accountability or DAPA)
  • Legal permanent residency applications for children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected, and were trafficked into the US  (Unaccompanied Alien Children or UACs) See Shepherd Project
  • Visa applications for people who have been a victim of crime and have cooperated with the police  (U Visas)
  • Application for status to remain in the US because it is not safe to return to the home country, e.g. Honduras, Haiti, El Salvador, Syria, Sudan   (Temporarily Protected Status or TPS, Asylum)
  • Family Petitions and Work  Permits  for US Citizens or legal residents.
  • Referral to free or paid services for naturalization or adjustment from legal permanent residency to US citizenship
  • Referral to  attorneys for deportation matters and other complex immigration issues
  • Referral to appropriate agencies with guidance on next steps for refugee or asylum status
  • Guidance on how to navigate other government offices, administrative and business services
